The Limestone District School Board is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee.  We acknowledge their enduring presence on this land, as well as the presence of the Metis, Inuit, and other First Nations from across Turtle Island. We honour their cultures and celebrate their commitment to this land.

All students who were issued a Chromebook should return it to room 107. They will not be marked as returned unless returned to room 107.

Bell Let’s Talk Day is tomorrow, January 26th. Let’s all take action and join the conversation on social media to help create positive change. Bell will donate more towards mental health initiatives in Canada by contributing 5 cents for every applicable text, call, tweet or Tik Tok video using #BellLet’sTalk, social media video view and use of the frame or snapchat lens.  Today’s action is to treat mental health issues like any other health issue.  We all have mental health, just like we all have physical health. According to a recent report from Statistics Canada, youth are at higher risk of experiencing poor mental health (compared to other age groups) during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Treating mental health issues just like you would treat someone with a broken arm helps reduce the stigma so that more people feel comfortable asking for help. It is important to know that people with mental health issues can and do recover. If you think that you or a friend might be having a mental health issue, please reach out to your teacher, guidance counsellor or principal.  They’re here to listen.
