Secondary Daily Announcements

The Limestone District School Board is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee.  We acknowledge their enduring presence on this land, as well as the presence of the Metis, Inuit, and other First Nations from across Turtle Island. We honour their cultures and celebrate their commitment to this land.

Students interested in learning about improv and the LaSalle Improv team are invited to come to the first practice of the year, tomorrow from 2:30-4:00 in the Drama Room.  No experience is necessary, just creativity and energy.  Come out and discover what Improv is all about.  See Mr. Graham for details.

La Salle Singers will meet today in the Music Room at lunch.  New members are welcome.

Congratulations to the junior girls’ basketball team on their 42-8 win over Kingston Secondary yesterday.

This is a message for Grade 12 students. Please check your school email accounts regularly as Student Services will continue to send important information throughout the school year. For example, both college and university online applications are now open. Students wanting to apply to university need to pick up their PIN number from Student Services.

October is Islamic History month! Muslims believe in one God, Allah- which is just the Arabic term for ‘God’! They also believe that Mohammad was the last Prophet, while Adam was the first.
