· Think you’ve got the best costume this year? Sign up for our Annual Costume Contest and show it off! Sign-up posters with QR codes have been placed around the school. If you prefer to sign up in person, you can also come to Room 125 at lunch.
· There are only a few days left until the Haunted Hallway—it’s going to be the scariest day of the year! Tickets are $2 each in the front foyer at lunch. Get them while you can!
· Senior students are reminded of post-secondary visits: Correctional Service of Canada Careers – is here today, Bishop's University and Loyalist College will be here on Friday.
- Spirit Week is here! Today is PJ Day, Tuesday is Jersey Day, Wednesday is Black and Orange Day, Thursday is Fall Flannel Day, and Friday is Costume Day.
- Our annual We Scare Hunger Food Drive starts this week. We’ll be collecting all donations on Monday, November 3rd, so make sure to have everything ready by then. The winning class will get a special prize, so get your classmates involved.
· Attention readers! Did you know that La Salle has not one but two book clubs? Members of the grade 9 and 10 book club will meet today in the library to discuss The Book Thief. Grade 11/12 and staff book club will be discussing Project Hail Mary and starts in 2 weeks. Come to the library to get a copy!
· Attention writers and artists: Entries for the youth imagine the future art and writing contest are due at the end of the week. Check in with Ms Cubitt any time this week for help!
· Competitive Improv tryouts will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday after school in the drama room. No experience necessary and students from grade 9-12 are eligible to try out. Bring your creativity and team work! See Mr. Graham for more information.
· There will be an important meeting on Tuesday at Lunch for anyone interested in helping out with the Remembrance Day Assembly in Room 309. Please see Mr Hills if you are interested in cannot attend.
In your sports
· Have you ever thought of trying a new sport? Come try curling! Join Ms. Dopking for the "Learn to Curl" program at the Cataraqui Curling Club on Mondays, right after school starting Nov 10th. See Ms. Dopking in Room 127 for more info!
· Boys Hockey is ramping up, there will be a meeting in room 309 on Thursday at Lunch for all interested individuals. Anyone from Grade 9-12 can tryout. Please make sure you attend the meeting for times and requirements.
· The junior boys football team tied KSS last Friday on a last second rouge that you'll only see in Canadian football. Elliot MacDonald also ran in a touchdown and Will Purvis recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown. The knights square off against Regi this Thursday afternoon.
· Playoff action is coming to our gym tomorrow! Come out and support you junior girls basketball team at 4:00pm. Let's pack the gym and get La Salle loud!

· Academic recognition, for last school year, continue this week this Thursday at lunch in the library. Students from last years grade 11 should check their student email accounts for invitations.
· Our Lost and Found pile is huge! Please take a moment to stop as you by the front office to gather anything that may be yours. We will be donating anything left next week.
