· Hey Black Knights, we are having our first Warm and Cozy today. Drop by the front foyer at lunch to purchase hot chocolate and lots of baked goods.
· Did you know you can take college courses while in grade 11 or 12? Students in dual credits receive a college course and a high school elective credit with no tuition or fees, attending college one day a week. Semester two applications for St. Lawrence College dual credits are now open and include courses in Practical Nursing, Electrical, Vet Assistant, Fitness and Health Promotion and more! For more info come to the Library tomorrow!
All ENG 4U students from Ms. Gordon's and Ms. Farnell's afternoon classes are asked to meet in the front foyer at 10:45 am to catch the city bus for our field trip today. Thank you, period two teachers, for letting these kids out a touch earlier to help us ensure we don't miss the bus!

· A huge congrats to Zander Yendt and Bruce Landry for representing the black and gold in the Senior Boys Volleyball All-Star game tonight at Holy Cross. Team Huddleston (La Salle's squad) walked away with the win!

· Hey Black Knights, you are running out of time to get your tickets for the annual semi-formal dance tomorrow night; the theme this year is A Night in Vegas. Get your tickets at lunch in the front foyer, debit or cash.
· Today in the library we have Courtney from the Kingston Native Center and Language Nest as our guest. She will be here every Thursday exploring teachings around the 4 sacred medicines, the 7 grandfather teachings and other indigenous traditions and stories. Everyone is welcome to attend and snacks will be provided.

· Thank you to everyone for their support during our successful Novice Volleyball tournament yesterday. There were many smiles and the competition was great. Our leadership class did an amazing job organizing it and our very own LaSalle team represented us well!

· The Novice Girls volleyball team started their season off with a big win against KSS yesterday! Lots of great serving, defensive plays and teamwork were displayed. Practice will continue next week on Tuesday and Thursday next week!
