- We’ll be collecting all donations today for the We Scare Hunger Food drive. The winning class will get a prize. Thank you to everyone that has contributed; your community appreciates your generosity!
- Volunteer Opportunity - Do you like cookies? Tim Horton's is looking for volunteers to help out with their Smile Cookie Campaign next month. Come to Student Services for more information on dates & locations.
- The final tryout for the Improv team will be held tomorrow after school in the drama room. Students Gr 9-12 are eligible to try out. See Mr. Graham for more info.
In Your Sports
- Have you ever thought of trying a new sport? Come to our "Learn to Curl" program at the Cataraqui Curling Club on Mondays beginning Nov 10th, right after school. See Ms.Dopking in Room 127 for more info!
- For any grade 11 or 12 boys interested in playing Senior Boys Basketball, there will be a brief meeting in room 315 to discuss tryouts.
- Last Thursday your Sr. Boys football team faced the the Regi Panthers with a cold, wet 14-1 victory. Touchdowns by Philip Perroff and Liam Williams lead the way offensively and as always our defense came out hitting. Your Knights play this Thursday at Caraco field in the city semi-Finals vs the Holy Cross, game time is 1:30pm.
- Attention all volleyball enthusiasts – there is a meeting for all those interested in playing Junior Girls volleyball tomorrow at lunch in room 124. Tryouts begin after school on Thursday at 2:45 pm in the main gym - see the posters up around the building or Ms. Farnell if you have questions.

· Coffee house performers are asked to attend a mandatory meeting in the drama room today at the beginning of lunch. If you have not yet shown your performance to Mr. Graham or Mr. Hills, you will be doing so after the meeting. See you there!
In Your Sports
· There will be a meeting at the start of lunch in room 209 today for girls interested in playing varsity hockey. We will discuss tryouts and our upcoming tournament. Returning and new players are to attend.
· Girls hockey tryouts are November 18, 24 and the 26th is our tournament. Please get all forms submitted ASAP on school day. If you're not on school day see Mr Leeder or Ms Pasic.
· All current grade 9 football players are asked to come by Mr. Kelly’s classroom for a 5-minute meeting at the start of lunch today.
· Anyone looking to be on the ski/snowboard team, meet with Mr. Vickers in Student services at lunch on Wednesday November 12th, if you can't make it, see Mr. Vickers in student services at any other time.
· Sr Girls Volleyball tryout is today at 4:15 in the main gym.
· A reminder to all girls interested in playing junior girls volleyball this year at LaSalle, our second tryout takes place tonight in the main gym from 2:45 until 4:15.

· A reminder to all SHSM Manufacturing students to meet in the Woodshop first thing this morning.
· Coffee House time! The LaSalle Coffee House returns this Thursday evening at 6:30! Come to the drama room for an amazing evening of the arts! Check out displays by the graphic design and art classes while sipping a hot beverage and enjoying performances by music and drama students. And it's free! See you there!
· Senior students are reminded that Guelph University and Tyndale College will both be here tomorrow. Please see Ms Pride in Student Services too make sure you are signed up to attend.
