· Hey Black Knights, we are having our first Warm and Cozy on Wednesday. Drop by the front foyer at lunch to purchase hot chocolate and lots of baked goods.
· Did you know you can take college courses while in grade 11 or 12? Students in dual credits receive a college course and a high school elective credit with no tuition or fees, attending college one day a week. Semester two applications for St. Lawrence College dual credits are now open and include courses from SLC’s Practical Nursing, Electrical, Vet Assistant, Fitness and Health Promotion and more! For more information come to the Library on November 20th for more info!
In Your Sports
· A reminder to that Girls hockey tryouts are November 18, 24 and the 26th is our tournament. Please get all forms submitted ASAP on school day. If you're not on school day see Mr Leeder or Ms Pasic.

· Coffee house performers are asked to attend a mandatory meeting in the drama room today at the beginning of lunch. If you have not yet shown your performance to Mr. Graham or Mr. Hills, you will be doing so after the meeting. See you there!
In Your Sports
· There will be a meeting at the start of lunch in room 209 today for girls interested in playing varsity hockey. We will discuss tryouts and our upcoming tournament. Returning and new players are to attend.
· Girls hockey tryouts are November 18, 24 and the 26th is our tournament. Please get all forms submitted ASAP on school day. If you're not on school day see Mr Leeder or Ms Pasic.
· All current grade 9 football players are asked to come by Mr. Kelly’s classroom for a 5-minute meeting at the start of lunch today.
· Anyone looking to be on the ski/snowboard team, meet with Mr. Vickers in Student services at lunch on Wednesday November 12th, if you can't make it, see Mr. Vickers in student services at any other time.
· Sr Girls Volleyball tryout is today at 4:15 in the main gym.
· A reminder to all girls interested in playing junior girls volleyball this year at LaSalle, our second tryout takes place tonight in the main gym from 2:45 until 4:15.

All ENG 4U students from Ms. Gordon's and Ms. Farnell's afternoon classes are asked to meet in the front foyer at 10:45 am to catch the city bus for our field trip today. Thank you, period two teachers, for letting these kids out a touch earlier to help us ensure we don't miss the bus!

· A huge congrats to Zander Yendt and Bruce Landry for representing the black and gold in the Senior Boys Volleyball All-Star game tonight at Holy Cross. Team Huddleston (La Salle's squad) walked away with the win!

· Senior students Bishop's University and Loyalist College will be here today. Upcoming school visits include Fleming, Guelph, and Tyndale College. Be sure to sign up with Ms Pride in Student Svs if you want to attend.
- We Scare Hunger Food Drive starts this week. We’ll be collecting all donations on Monday, November 3rd. The winning class will get a prize, so get your classmates involved.
· Those interested in participating in the upcoming Sr Mathlete competition at Regi, there is an important meeting in room 206 at lunch today.
· Volunteer Opportunity - Do you like cookies? Tim Horton's is looking for volunteers to help out with their Smile Cookie Campaign next month. Come to Student Services for more information on dates & locations.

· Are you interested in having fun and meeting new people? Have you ever thought of trying a new sport? Come to our "Learn to Curl" program at the Cataraqui Curling Club on Mondays beginning Nov 10th, right after school. See Ms.Dopking in Room 127 for more info!
